I took some pictures of Lucy with some of the flowers that are blooming near our house. Just wanted to share with everyone. I've also included some pictures of she and Bryson (Andy and Brittany's little boy) when he came over to play last night.

Tiny Dancer!

So most of you probably know this already, but Lucy has decided that her name is Lu-Lu. Everything is Lu-Lu's and there is no LUCY in our house anymore. Yesterday Ryan was out of town most of the afternoon, so Lu-Lu and Mommy spent a fun day at home (well not too fun, since she's very sick, but I tried to make up for it by doing absolutely everything she wanted to do all day long). So here are some pics of her beautiful dance costume that Nana got her. She danced around the house like a butterfly, and then refused to take the costume off. She was very proud of it. And there are also some pics of her at bathtime (HER FAVORITE TIME OF THE DAY!) Notice the cute bunny towel that Nana and Steve gave her for Easter. And she told me over and over "nails, nails" wanting me to take a picture of her pretty pink painted toes. I swear, I am not one of those moms who paints their childs nails every day, I did it once and ever since she has gone to the drawer herself and gotten the polish out and told me to "paint, paint, nails" . And by the way LARA - I did use pail pink every time, but this time she insisted on HOT PINK! I know you think it's tacky! HA HA!

ALL THE KIDS TOGETHER!

Easter Sunday was a big adventure for Lucy-Kate. She was thrilled with all her goodies from the Easter bunny (as well as from Nana & Steve and MeMe & Papa). She played so hard all morning with her new toys and Liz and Henry that she never made it to church time. We were all dressed and ready to go, waiting on Ryan to finish getting ready, and as we sat watching "Bee Movie" (this was the only way to get her still enough for me to put her hairbow in) she fell asleep right in the floor, on my legs. She was so sweet all dressed up laying there asleep. I guess Ryan thought so too, since he grabbed the camera and began taking pictures. I told him we could use those pictures as proof for Momma Jo and Pop as to why we weren't able to be at church, since we'd promised them we'd be there! Here are some pictures of her opening up her goodies in her Easter basket, and the infamous sleeping pics. . . HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Sunny Days!

We enjoyed the great weather yesterday (that came to an abrupt end, didn't it?) with some fun at the playground and on Lucy's Little Slide yesterday afternoon! She had a great time, even though she fell on the slide and hurt her nose! She just enjoyed the freedom to walk around without Ryan or me saying "Come back here Lucy!" or "Don't touch that Lucy!" I think she would have stayed there all night if we would have let her. We are so ready for Spring and Summer, Ryan is already planning out her playground that He and Terry and Pop are planning on building . . .. Yes, I said a playground. They have decided that we can get a swingset, sandbox, riding toys, etc., etc., and make a full fledged PLAYGROUND in our side yard!!! As you can tell, this little girl has lots of grown men wrapped around her little finger!

Okay so this post doesn't really have anything to do with Lucy, but I wanted to post a pic of my DANCE TEAM here, and just say that I am so proud of my girls for the great job they've done this season. We had our "End of the year party" last night at our house and we all had such a good time looking through scrapbooks of this year and everything. I have a wonderful group of girls this year and I can't wait to get started with next season. THANK YOU GIRLS!!!

P.S. Lucy-Kate loves you too! She had such a fun time at the party last night!

SLEEPY HEADS!!!

So this weekend was just really tough on Lucy-Kate, being at home and playing ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!! That can wear a girl out . . . and a Daddy! I was scrapbooking about 7:00 Saturday night, when I thought Ryan and Lucy were playing. Then I noticed it had gotten very quiet, and when I went to look for them, there they were in the bed, both of them sound asleep! It was just such a cute sight that I had to take pictures! And believe it or not, the flashes from my camera didn't even wake them!!!

GO MEREDITH!

Lucy Kate showed some support for the LADY TIGER TENNIS TEAM this weekend, wearing her Campbellsville University shirt that cousin Meredith got her for her birthday. GOOD LUCK THIS SEASON MERE!!!

TELETUBBIES ROCK!!!

So, Lucy-Kate LOVES LOVES LOVES the Teletubbies! She was oh-so-thrilled when my Mom got her all 4 of them for Christmas. Since then we have slept with at least one every night and we usually play with all 4 throughout the day. She takes one to daycare almost every day. Although we try to limit her TV time, she still has the entire "Here Come the Teletubbies" video memorized. If you ask to see her Teletubby belly, she puts her hands on her hips and sticks her tummy WAY out, like they do (see the picture above). Here are some pics of her enjoying some quality time with her TELETUBBIES! And watching the video (thats the picture where she's totally zoned out and not even looking at the camera!) When she finally noticed I was taking pictures of her she decided to hide her eyes and play peek-a-boo with me.

SNOW DAY!

Lucy enjoyed the snow this weekend! She wanted to stay outside all day, but unfortunately with her having been sick last week, she couldn't stay out too long! She was amazed when she woke up Saturday morning!

Lucy-Kate had her pictures made yesterday and I thought that you guys would like to see a couple of them! Auntie Beth got her both of these beutiful dresses. (I don't buy dresses for her EVER . . .because I know that prissy Auntie will take care of her in that department! HA HA!)

My First Blog!

Hello! I have always been in the dark when it comes to "My Space" or "Facebook" or any other personal blogs out there, but when Jen told me about the blog that Emily had posted about Stella I just had to check it out! And it was so adorable, and such a great way for EVERYONE who loves her SO much to always be able to see what she's up to! So I just had to create one for Lucy-Kate! So here goes, my first attempt at blogging!


Just to catch everyone up~ Lucy-Kate is 18 months old now. She is into everything! She loves books and would have Mommy or Daddy reading to her ALL day every day if we had time! She is crazy about the Wiggles and Teletubbies (She has to sleep with one of her Teletubbies EVERY night!) She talks constantly (I have no idea where she gets that!) and can tell you exactly what she wants you to do.
We spend most of our time reading or playing in her play room at home every night. She loves to cook on her toy kitchen and visit with Nana and Steve, or Momma Jo & Pop. She is also a big fan of her cousins Lizzy and Henry. She has now learned to say "Sally" and Suzie" and "Lydlo" plainly and likes to visit with her aunts too ~ who just can't get enough of her!
