My First Ponytail.

Lucy was a complete ball of energy on Sunday Night. She wanted me to paint her nails, play in her dollhouse, and fix her hair. Since she was so happy I decided to try a new hairdo. THE PONYTAIL!!! Her hair is just long enough to get into one little twig on the top of her head. But it was so cute, and she was so proud when she saw it in the mirror, I just had to take pictures.

Splish Splash!

LUCY THE LITTLE MERMAID.

MACK: "OH NO, NOT HER AGAIN."
LUCY: "OOH, I JUST WANNA PINCH HIM, BUT MOMMY'S WATCHING!"

TURNING CIRCLES IN THE WATER!

KICK, KICK, KICK!

Lucy and I started the Mommy and Me swim class last weekend at the Somerset YMCA. Lucy learned to kick in the water, blow bubbles, and go under. She had a great time swimming with Mack. We can't wait to go back this weekend!

A NEW SWINGSET FOR LUCY!

" Get in there baby! "

On her swingset (with the lovely flutes purchased at the circus, THANKS STEVE!)

"Round, Round, Round"

" Here I come, Mommy! "

" Help daddy! "

Sweet little hands playing in the pink sand!

So, I've decided at this point that I can never have another child. In order to buy Lucy all the things I want her to have I could never afford another one! I know it's wrong to spoil your child so much and I swear I really try not to. But it's just so hard! The fact that she's the only grandchild or great-grandchild on my husband's side, and the only grandchild that lives right down the road from her grandparents on my side, doesn't help! My only hope is that although we try to give her a lot of things, and oppurtunities, that I can raise her to appreciate everything she has and to give to others. With that said, we have spoiled more than usual lately. Our yard is now covered with brightly colored plastic toys like a slide, table and chairs, sand and water table (with pink sand, none the less!), baby doll strollers, and the latest is her new swingset. If I never bought her another thing in her life, I think she'd be satisfied (for at least the next several years) with this swingset. She's learned how to climb up the ladder to the swing all by herself, and her favorite part is the merry-go-round. She loves to push herself, her baby dolls, and even her sippy cups "round, round, round". I am looking forward to the summer and many fun days in the sun with all of our new "lawn art"!

LIONS,TIGERS, AND CLOWNS! OH MY!

Last night was Lucy's first trip to the circus. Once she got past the initial scare of the clowns, she had a blast! She loved the "amials" (animals) and the trapeze girls. I have to say I was very impressed with that myself! She was in a trance watching everything, that is until STEVE bought her a big inflated hammer and a toy flute which she proceeded to hit everyone with (the hammer) and annoy everyone around as she played (the flute). But thats what grandad's are for! We got to spend some fun time with our friends Lindsay and Gavin too. Overall, we had a very good time and can't wait for our next circus!
