Lucy: "Hey Mommy, we can't go into outta space without a rocket ship"

Mommy: "No, we can't"

Lucy: "we will get lost from our mommies and our daddies"

Mommy: "Yeah we would"

Lucy: "I won't go into outta space and get lost from you guys"

Mommy: "Oh good, because that would make me sad. What would I do if I ever lost my Lucy?"

Lucy: "Diego could help you find me with his spotting scope and his rescue pack"

Funny that things are so simple through a child's eyes. Her cartoon super-hero Diego can take care of everything. Just thought it was cute, so thought I would share.

Swimming Star!

On our recent overnight trip Lucy got to make some waves in the hotel pool. I thought last summer was fun, but I absolutely can't wait to get our pool set up for this summer. She is a little water bug already!

Exploring at the Explorium

We took a little family overnight fun trip Friday to Lexington to let Lucy enjoy some time at the Lexington Childrens Explorium. She took a trip to the moon, through a cave, into the bubble factory, the grocery store, the farm, the dentist, became a horse groomer, a doctor, and a musician all within 3 hours. She had so much fun playing and learning. Here are some pics of the fun time!

Bathing Beauty

Lucy has taken her dramatic skills into the bath tub . . . now she pretends to be Ariel when she lays in the tub and 'floats under the sea'. I get to be Flounder and Daddy is always Sabastian (the grouchy crab, suits him don't ya think? HA!) Here are some pictures of the bathing beauty enjoying some mermaid laughs!

Early Easter Fun!

Cousin Lizzy got to spend most of her spring break here in Liberty with Nana and Steve. So Lucy got some much needed 'Lizzy Time' as the girls colored easter eggs and had several early easter egg hunts at our house last week.
